We are searching for a Pastor.
We are currently two separate and distinct churches: Ashburnham (MA) Community Church and First Congregational Church Rindge (6 Payson Hill Rd. Rindge NH). For the past five years we have been joyfully sharing a designated term pastor and growing closer as we have found new ways of being church.
Our small congregations serve as examples of welcoming and open Christianity in our rural conservative towns. We are looking for a minister to journey with us to continue exploring and finding new ways of being church and serving our communities. We would love to see our Small Church Collaborative grow to include more churches. We are seeking a pastor who is interested in helping churches make the changes each congregation imagines for themselves. Our focus is on increasing the way the lay leaders are the decision-makers for each congregation; and on learning how to reach out into the local town where each church is situated.
