REV. DR. ELIZABETH MAE MAGILL

Pastor Elizabeth Mae Magill looks for God’s rule on earth and imagines it is full of great food – enough for

everyone –and time to really sit and listen to each other while we are eating. Liz loves working with groups

of people: teaching, facilitating, learning, and celebrating the great diversity of who we are as God’s

created beings. To get to know people who are different, Liz has spent a lot of time writing books, articles,

blogs, proposals, grants, applications and of course, very inspirational social media posts.

Liz is the author of Five Loves, Two Fish, Twelve Volunteers: Growing Relational Food Ministries. As

pastor of a small church collaborative in Ashburnham, MA and Rindge, NH, she is focused on exploring

ew ways to be a church in today’s changing world. She is also a missioner to The Affiliates for Ecclesia

ministries. In 2007 Pastor Magill worked with Mary Jane Eaton to create Worcester Fellowship, an outdoor

church made up of people who do not have homes or are at risk of homelessness.

The Reverend Dr. Elizabeth Mae Magill earned her Master of Divinity degree in 2002 from the Episcopal

Divinity School. She earned her Doctorates in Ministry in 2017 from the Brite Divinity School. She is

ordained with The Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). To her parishioners, she is simply Pastor Liz or

ust Liz.

She spends her free time quilting, sewing, knitting, painting, skiing, and looking for people to play board

games with. Liz has a partner for life, Ken, and together they share a love of music and travel.
