The church sanctuary, shown here during a piano concert, is a visually and acoustically appealing space. Photo by Christopher Greenleaf.
I give you a new commandment, that you love one another.
Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another.
– John 13:34
The Ashburnham Community Church is an Open and Affirming community of faith gathered to worship God and share in the ongoing ministry of Jesus Christ. Believing that all persons made in the image of God, we value and welcome diversity in our midst.
We welcome individuals and families of every age, race, culture, sexual orientation, gender identity, spiritual and religious tradition, mental and physical ability, education and economic circumstance. We celebrate the gifts of everyone and encourage all to participate fully in the life, leadership, ministry, and mission of this church.
In our attitudes, words, and actions we seek to express God’s inclusive love. We commit ourselves to work for peace, justice, and equality in our congregation, local community and the world. By God’s grace we seek to work for peace, justice, and equality in our congregation, local community and the world. We seek to grow as a safe, nurturing community of faith.
No matter who you are or where you are on life’s journey you are welcome here!
Christmas has more than one meaning in these times.
This year, when it’s hard to gather, Ashburnham Community Church invites the entire community to spend Advent together lighting candles in our homes, helping our neighbors, sharing Hope, Peace, Joy, and Love during these shorts days. Enjoy this organ music by Patricia Fredrick to accompany your season.
